A memorial service for Kenneth Wayne Rupert, 65, a lifetime Carson City resident, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Carson Colony Community Gym. Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mr. Rupert died June 19, 2006, at his home. He was born April 10, 1941, in Carson City to Harold and Sybil Rupert.
He retired from the Nevada Department of Transportation after 30 years, and worked at Rupert's Auto Body for three years.
Among his survivors are his wife, Kristin Rupert, of Carson City; children Marilyn "Cookie" Halligan, Frank Trujillo, Connie Foster, Marty Rupert, Anna Rupert, Greg Rupert, Sarina Rupert and Kassandra Rupert-Townsend, all of Carson City, and Emily Boothroyd of Tooele, Utah; brother Tyler Rupert of Carson City; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at the Stewart Cemetery.
