A memorial service for Linda Lea Humes, 57, a 16-year Nevada resident will be at 2 p.m. today at the Silver Legacy Exposition Hall.
Mrs. Humes died June 17, 2006, in Stagecoach. She was born Oct. 2, 1948, in Denver to Edward Brumbaugh and Ethyl Myers.
Before moving to Fernley, she lived in Reno and Las Vegas.
She was a supervisor for the PBX department at the Silver Legacy.
She was a member of the Tinker Bell and Mickey Mouse clubs.
Mrs. Humes was preceded in death by her mother, father and stepfather, Lloyd Myers.
Among her survivors are her husband, Richard Humes; daughter Nicole Sligar, son and daughter-in-law Steven and Melissa Sligar, all of Las Vegas; daughter and son-in-law Tasha and Jason Crist of Denver; sisters Rita Diehl, Jan Dexter, Pam Brumbaugh and Pat Cuna; bother Barry Brumbaugh; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's crematory.
Her ashes will be scattered at a later date.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
