The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 56-year-old hospital worker from Carson City was arrested at 10:28 p.m. Wednesday in the 4700 block of Snyder Avenue on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.
• A 29-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at Long and Fall streets on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and injury to a motor vehicle. Bail was set at $3,479.
• Phillip Robert Gallardo, 28, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of possession of stolen property, burglary, and felon in possession of a firearm. Bail was set at $25,000.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• Vehicle burglary report in the 100 block of South Carson Meadows at 7:31 a.m.
• Hit-and-run accident in the 1100 block of South Nevada Street at 7:39 a.m.
• Battery report in the 100 block of Conestoga Drive at 10:18 a.m. An arrest was made.
• One person was arrested for trespassing at Carson High School at 12:57 p.m.
• A man on David Street reportedly threatened several children with death at 4:33 p.m. When an adult confronted him, he also threatened to kill her.
• Two people walked out of Scolari's without paying for a basket of groceries at 7:48 p.m.
• A 38-year-old man was shot in the leg with a pellet gun by a 16-year-old boy on Castle Way about 9 p.m. The man was taken to the hospital. Charges may follow.
• Two teens tried to steal a bottle of rum from Scolari's at 11:04 p.m. Both were cited.

• Domestic dispute report in the 100 block of Ring Road in Mark Twain at 5:13 a.m.
• Battery report at Fernley High School at 7:45 a.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest in the 500 block of Concord Drive in Fernley at 10:28 a.m.
• Death investigation on North California Street in Yerington at 1:48 p.m.
• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 3:38 p.m.
• A felony arrest on Highway 50 East at 5:12 p.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered.
• Accident on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 5:33 p.m.
• Accident on Main Street in Fernley at 6:25 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
• A traffic citation was issued at 6:34 p.m. on Peri Ranch Road on Wednesday.
• Two dogs were reportedly attacking a horse on Mill Street at 12:55 p.m. Thursday.
