A memorial service for Eleanor Maxine Krick, 75, a nine-year Silver Springs resident, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith in Carson City.
Mrs. Krick died March 13, 2006, in Carson City.
She was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Coos Bay, Ore., to Lemual O. Morin and Velma Jones.
She married William D. Krick Sr. on Aug. 11, 1949, in Washington.
Before moving to Carson City she lived in Homer, Alaska.
She was an artist; a painting teacher in Oregon, New Mexico and Alaska; and a professional chef. She managed senior housing in Alaska. She was also a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her son William D. Jr., in Homer in 1996; and sister Beverly Cross in Port Orford, Ore.
Among her survivors are her husband of Silver Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Richard Martin of Carson City; daughter-in-law Linda Krick of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; sister Shirley McDonald of Gold Beach, Ore.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation took place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
