A memorial service for Betty Ann Dodds, 71, an eight-year Carson City resident, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Capitol Baptist Church, 4555 Edmonds Dr.
Mrs. Dodds died March 9, 2006, in Carson City. She was born Dec. 13, 1934, in Loma Linda, Calif., to Ernest and Emily Mae Madeira.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in West Covina, Calif.
She was a homemaker.
She belonged to the First Southern Baptist Church in El Monte, Calif.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Linda Kay Raab; son, William D. Dodds Jr.; sister, Peggy L. Madeira; brothers Ernest, Leo and Steven Madeira; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She donated her body to science.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
