A memorial service for Lois Jean Coleman, 70, a 16-year Gardnerville resident, will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Bently Science Park, 1751 Orbit Way in Minden.
Mrs. Coleman died March 9, 2006, in her home. She was born Oct. 26, 1935, in San Francisco, Calif., to Thomas and Inez Spitaleri.
She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church in Douglas County and a volunteer at the Carson City Senior Games.
She was preceded in death by her sister Carol Lipke.
Among her survivors are her husband, Bill Coleman of Gardnerville; daughter, Lori Cooper of Gardnerville; son, Bill Coleman of Reno; sisters Kiki Broderick and Pat Bouharin, both of Gardnerville; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice, or any charity that helps children.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
