Barbara Willhoite, 68, a Carson Valley resident for 16 years, died March 13, 2006, at Carson-Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Willhoite was born March 21, 1937, in Haddam, Kan., to Floyd and Ermal West.
She was a volunteer at the Douglas County Senior Citizens Center.
Among her survivors are her husband of 31 years, Tom Willhoite; daughter, Kim Willhoite, of Englishtown, N.J.; brothers and sisters-in-law Jim and Sharon West, Don and Virginia West and Richard and Kathy West; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will take place in the veterans section of the Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
No services were scheduled at her request.
