Pinenut Mtns. Trail Assoc. to hold Saturday cleanup

The Pinenut Mountains Trail Association will hold a cleanup on Saturday at the OHV area at "Prison Hill."

That association is composed of all types of trail users (hikers, bikers, horses, motorcycles, etc.)

The Saturday cleanup will begin at about 9 a.m. and last until about 4 p.m.

If you would like to help:

1. Meet at the parking area at the end of Snyder Avenue, past the State Prison.

2. Bring a truck shovel, work clothes, gloves and your own lunch and water.

There will be a dumpster parked in that area for the debris that is collected.

The Pinenut Mountains Trail Association meets on the first Tuesday of the month.

Brian Doyal of Carson City reported that the April 4 meeting will be held at El Aguila Real at 3220 Highway 50 East in Carson City, beginning at 7 p.m.
