Intake No. 2: A 10-pound, 13-ounce rainbow on a Mini-Jig. Green Stingers or a white Mini-Jig are working best. Nightcrawlers and Salmon Eggs are doing well.

North Lake: We had some brave souls go up to North Lake and reported it was still frozen over and fishing was OK at best.

South Lake: The lake is still iced over with some open water in the back by the inlet. The ice is very questionable now for walking on. Lots of fish coming out with a few browns. Not much size but lots of fish using Nightcrawlers or a Thomas Buoyant.

Bishop Creek: A 2-pound, 12-ounce rainbow near Table Mt. Campground on Salmon eggs. Tim Alpers stocked this week and the fishing for the weekend was fantastic. Salmon Eggs have been best with some good action with olive Stingers or Lip-Ripperz.

BISHOP, CALIF. AREA: Patti Apted of the Lake Sabrina Boat Landing (760-873-7425):
