Scouting Nevada: The Pack has been swept in each of its last two conference battles, losing two (one game was rained out) to conference-leading Hawai'i and three to third-place San Jose State ... Bowman currently has an 11-game hit streak where he has hit .409 with seven RBI and eight runs scored ... Krukow, who started eight of the last 10 games behind the plate, is hitting .255 when he catches and .194 as a DH ... Williams has a five-game hit streak, second-logest active streak on the team. In that span, he's hitting .348 with two runs and an RBI. He currently has 15 steals, matching Joe Inglett's mark in 1999.

Scout Fresno State: The Bulldogs had the WAC's bye last weekend, but split a four-game series with Dallas Baptist ... This team is loaded offensively with Mills (10), Vitters (10) and Susdorf (9) posting decent home run numbers. Mills is fourth in career homers with 32 and Vitters moved into the top 10 in homers (25) and RBI (128). Vitters has 15 multi-hit games this season, tops on the team ... Underwood has been an impressive Sunday starter, allowing just three earned runs in his last 33 innings.
