The University of Nevada baseball team's struggles continued in a 13-2 loss at Fresno State on Friday.

Dayton's Matt Bowman extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a first inning single and ended up going 1-for-4. Terry Walsh led the Wolf Pack (17-24, 5-10 in the Western Athletic Conference) with two hits.

Nevada made just one error in the game, but it was costly as second baseman Leo Radkowski's error led to six unearned runs to give the Bulldogs (31-16, 10-6) a 7-0 lead in the fourth inning. Beau Mills reached on Radkowski's error with one out.

Tim Schoeninger got Christian Vitters to fly out for the second out, but then the Bulldogs reeled off four straight home runs before Steve Susdorf's three-run home run finished the rally.

Nevada cut the lead to 7-1 in the fifth on the strength of Bake Krukow's single and Matt Suleski's RBI single. Down 13-1, the Wolf Pack added a run in the ninth on the strength of Walsh's double.

Winning pitcher Doug Fister allowed one run on four hits through eight innings, striking out seven. Schoeninger took the loss, allowing eight runs, two earned, over six innings.
