The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Rene Bracamontes Castro, 39, a manufacturing plant employee from Carson City, was arrested at 6:51 a.m. in the 2400 block of Conestoga Drive on a felony immigration hold for deportation and a misdemeanor traffic violation. No bail was set.
• Aaron Phillips, 32, a carpenter from Carson City, was arrested at 1:10 p.m. at Fuji Park on suspicion of misdemeanor battery. He allegedly punched someone whom he claimed owed him money, in front of the man's wife and children. Once in custody, Phillips was additionally charged with gross misdemeanor battery by a prisoner. At 11:19 p.m. he allegedly struck a fellow inmate who had touched him. Bail was set at $21,132.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
• A man claiming to be a deputy followed a woman into a parking lot on Fairview Drive at 7:51 a.m. Friday, but refused to show identification.
• Accident at North Plaza and Washington streets at 4:20 p.m.
• Residential burglary report in the 300 block of Sarah Drive at 1:05 a.m. Saturday.
• Coroner call in the 500 block of Roop Street at 2:40 a.m.
• Graffiti report in the 2900 block of Cameron Court at 8:19 a.m. Saturday.
• Accident in the 700 block of East Proctor Street at 12:04 p.m. Saturday.
• A woman reported her fiance was last seen at an Incline Village bar with friends early Saturday morning, and he still wasn't home by 1:54 p.m.
• Bystanders detained an aggressive man who hit a woman in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East at 7:39 p.m. Saturday.
• A report of shots fired at Pheasant and Fairview Drives at 10:48 p.m. Saturday.
• 2000 GMC Sierra was reported stolen from the 2600 block of College Parkway at 11:46 p.m.
• An injured deer near the top of Lakeview Hill at 12:49 a.m. Sunday.
• Report of mail theft in the 3100 block of Halleck Drive at 9:59 a.m. Sunday.
• A woman asked deputies to stand by while she returned DVDs to a neighbor at 11 a.m. Sunday.
• Graffiti in the 3700 block of Sherman Lane at 1:30 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the 97 calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• Misdemeanor arrest following the report of a drunken driver at 3:37 a.m. on Highway 339 in Mason Valley.
• Fire on Fortune Drive in Dayton at 4:18 p.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Nevin Way in Yerington at 7:02 p.m.
• Domestic dispute on Bens Way in Fernley at 8:55 p.m. One person was transported to the hospital.
• Felony arrest on East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 10:56 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the 18 calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• A man reported someone told him someone else was going to shoot his dog on Julie Way at 11:09 a.m.
• Fire on Fortune Drive in Dayton at 4:22 p.m.
• Report of a possible trailer theft from Whiskey Flat Road at 7:48 p.m.
