A graveside service for D. Ellen Bruce, 65, a 25-year Phoenix, Ariz., resident, will be at 2 p.m. today at Walton's Carson Gardens.
Mrs. Bruce died Oct. 24, 2006, in Phoenix. She was born Oct. 25, 1940, in Seattle, to Douglas and Velma Evans.
She married Robert Bruce in 1960 in Tucson, Ariz.
Before moving to Phoenix, Mrs. Bruce lived in Carson City from 1963-81.
She worked for Laxalt Berry and Allison for many years and was a licensed real estate broker employed as a legal secretary for Osborn, Maledon in Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1981, and a brother.
She is survived by five siblings.
A memorial service was held Oct. 28, 2006, at Hansen Mortuary in Phoenix. A reception was held at the Church of Beatitudes after the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Arizona Humane Society in Phoenix.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
