A graveside service for Angela Bales, 100, a longtime resident of Northern Nevada, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Genoa Cemetery.
Mrs. Bales died Nov. 2, 2006, in Manor Care in Reno. She was born Aug. 7, 1906, in Coconota, Italy.
She was a homemaker and had seen both World Wars, the Korean and Vietnam wars, and both Gulf Wars in her lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Floyd Herring, in 1992, and by her daughter, Lillian.
Among her survivors are her husband, Ira Bales; son Thomas Vaio; grandsons George and Thomas Vaio; and great-grandchildren Sarah and Thomas Vaio.
