A private investor recently purchased a 18,000-square-foot industrial building for $1.7 million in North Carson City.
The sale to the Ronart Park, Calif., investor closed in early September. Federal Express will continue to lease the 3691 Research Way site.
Bruce Robertson, of Sperry Van Ness commercial real estate, in Carson City, said the buyer purchased the building as a business investment. Tom Johnson, of Sperry Van Ness, represented the seller, Carson City-based Research Way LLC.
Originally built in 1986, the building is situated on a little less than one acre and is located within a mile of the new freeway interchange.
