The Brewery Arts Center welcomes singer/songwriter Joni Morris as she performs her one-woman show, "Portrait of Patsy Cline," on Friday as part of the BAC's fall performances.

Morris' performance takes audiences to the golden years of the '50s and '60s with her authentic portrayal of Cline, performing such favorites as "Crazy," "Sweet Dreams," "I Fall to Pieces," "My Happiness" and "Where the Boys Are."

"We're so pleased to give our community the opportunity to see a performance of this caliber at the Brewery Arts Center," said John Procaccini, executive director.

Morris will appear at 7:30 p.m. in the Performance Hall, 511 W. King St. Tickets are $25 for preferred seating and $19 for balcony. A $3 discount is available for BAC members, students and seniors. Call 883-1976 or visit www.breweryarts.org.

Musical 'Camelot' coming to Reno

Broadway Comes to Reno presents "Camelot" at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Reno. Based on the book by T. H. White, "The Once and Future King," this award-winning musical was adapted for the stage by Alan Jay Lerner who also wrote the lyrics. His partner, Frederick Loewe, composed the music for the production. Performances are Nov. 24 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 25 at 2 and 8 p.m., Nov. 26 at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at (877) 840-0457 at prices from $35 to $70 and are subject to service charges.

College to stage musical 'Brigadoon'

The Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company will present Lerner and Loewe's award-winning "Brigadoon" for three weekends at the Carson City Community Center Nov. 4-19.

Admission is $18 general, $16 for students and seniors, and $14 for youths 17 and younger. Tickets are available at Comma Coffee and the WNCC, 2201 West College Parkway; or by phone at 445-4249. Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. A 2 p.m. matinee on Nov. 18.
