U.S. Senate debates
• The first of three televised debates between Jack Carter and Sen. John Ensign is scheduled for 6-7 p.m. Sunday from the studios of KLAS-TV, 3228 Channel 8 Drive, in Las Vegas. The debate will be broadcast live in Las Vegas on Channel 8 and cable Channel 19.
It will also be streamed live at the Web site, www.lasvegasnow.com
• Two further debates are scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday at the KLAS studios (a pre-taping of "Face To Face With Jon Ralston") and at 7 p.m. Oct. 23rd live at from KRNV-TV in Reno.
