Driver needed for dialysis patient
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program needs drivers for a sick man who needs three dialysis treatments a week in Carson City.
RSVP volunteers have been helping him for almost three years. The most recent volunteer, who was driving him three days a week, is no longer available to drive him. The client lives on the south edge of Washoe County, near Carson City. His wife is a teacher in Reno, and now is the sole support for the family. RSVP has a van that can be used for this service and the volunteer will have benefits while volunteering.
