Goals by Chase Losche and Brian Duran put the undefeated Carson J.V. boys team on track to its 15th straight win of the season.
Losche's unassisted goal on a 20-yard shot gave the Senators a 1-0 lead that stood at halftime. Duran's goal in the second half made it 2-0. South Tahoe cut the gap to 2-1 on a goal inside the final three minutes.
Ryan Lee and Pedro Chavez shared time in the net for the Senators, who conclude their season Saturday at home against Wooster and then a match on Monday at Reno.
