A memorial service for Phyllis Ann Anita English, 76, a 26-year Stagecoach resident, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City.
Mrs. English died Oct. 19, 2006, at her home. She was born March 11, 1930, in Cambridge, Mass., to Frank Joseph and Phyllis Anita O'Toole.
Before moving to Stagecoach, Mrs. English lived in Pasadena, Calif.
She was a Cottage Parent at the Nevada Children Home for several years, a longtime member of the Dayton Silver Squares, and active in the Stagecoach Garden Club. She belonged to St. Ann's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her son Howard Philip English.
Among her survivors are her husband of 59 years, Howard E. English, of Stagecoach; sons Peter English of Carson City, Philip English of Honolulu and Paul English of Tustin, Calif.; daughters Donna English of Port Townsend, Wash., Janet Lieder of Carson City and Patricia Johnson of Blue Lake, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
