Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

•A 49-year-old environmental protection employee from Gardnerville was arrested at 3:50 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Evelyn Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.

• Twyla Dawn Macias, 29, of Carson City, was arrested at 1:43 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of East Long Street on two counts of suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument. Bail was set at $5,000.

• A 49-year-old unemployed Mound House man was arrested Thursday on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $274.

• A 61-year-old iron worker from Carson City was arrested at 4:40 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence Bail was set at $1,000.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Felony arrest in the 10000 block of Highway 50 East in Mound House at 1:37 a.m.

• Accident on Osborn Lane in Mason Valley at 6:44 a.m.

• Brush fire on Sheep Camp Drive at 8:38 a.m. in Dayton.

• Motor vehicle accident on Interstate 80 in Fernley at 10:25 a.m.

• Structure fire on Cottonwood Drive in Fernley at 10:39 a.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Traffic citation issued on USA Parkway at 1:58 p.m.

• Traffic citation issued on Canyon Way in Lockwood at 4:16 p.m.
