A memorial service for Anthony Leon Cecil, 27, a five-year Carson City resident, will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 411 N. Saliman Road.
Mr. Cecil died Oct. 24, 2006, in Carson City. He was born April 30, 1979, in Carson City, to Douglas and Bonita Cecil.
Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Cecil lived in Las Vegas.
He graduated from Green Valley High School in 1997 and was sous chef at SlotWorld.
Among his survivors are his parents; sisters and brothers-in-law Tina and Mike Morris and Peggy and Rick Mattson; brothers and sisters-in-law Dan and Robin Cecil and Mike and Vicky Cecil, and 13 nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Memorial donations may be made to the Anthony Leon Cecil Memorial Fund, Irwin Union Bank No. 23261167.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
