Margaret McKinney

A memorial service for Margaret McKinney, 86, a seven-year Carson City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. McKinney died Oct. 23, 2006. She was born Feb. 21, 1920, in Fargo, N.D.

She belonged to United Methodist Women, Carson City Friends of the Library, and was a Cooperative Extension Master Gardener. She was a Civil Service Coast Guard executive assistant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James McKinney.

Among her survivors are nephews George Jurgens of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Karl Jurgens of Rosebud, Mo.; nieces Kristine Hall of Woodstock, Ill., and Jocelyn Helling of Minden and several grand nieces and nephews.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
