Northern Nevada's Regional Business & Tech Expo announced Wells Fargo is the diamond sponsor for this year's event where Northern Nevada companies will have the opportunity to present their products and services to an audience of business and industry professionals. Sponsorship and exhibitor space is now available for this year's Tech Expo, which will be at the Nevada Appeal building 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 4.

"At Wells Fargo, we are dedicated to supporting our community. The Regional Business & Tech Expo is an event we are proud to sponsor because it provides valuable opportunities for local businesses to gain exposure for their products and services," said Larry Rodriguez, a vice president in Wells Fargo Commercial Banking Office in Northern Nevada.

"NNDA supports area businesses and encourages entrepreneurship," said Northern Nevada Development Authority Executive Director Ron Weisinger.

The development authority and Wells Fargo, along with its co-sponsors, the Nevada Appeal and Northern Nevada Business Weekly, expect attendance to double from last year. Co-hosts this year include the chambers of commerce from Carson City, Carson Valley, Dayton, Fernley and Reno-Sparks as well as the Churchill Economic Development Authority.

This expanded regional focus provides increased business-to-business and business-to-consumer opportunities, and participating businesses can take advantage of the critical mass of regional products and services, all under one roof.

Last year more than 75 businesses used the expo to showcase their products and services.

"This is a great opportunity to meet both the people who attend the expo, as well as fellow exhibitors," said Debra Nevins, Mortgage Broker at Sierra Valley Mortgage and a 2005 exhibitor.

Exhibitor space starts at $200 and includes a listing in the expo directory and sponsorships are available at several levels.

Sponsor and exhibitor information can be found on the NNDA Web site at www.nnda.org or for further information or advertising opportunities, contact Judi Bishop at NNDA at 883-4413 or e-mail nnda@nnda.org or contact any of the co-hosts listed above.
