A memorial service for Carol Jean Sellers, 56, a six-year Yerington resident, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Highway 208 in Yerington.
Mrs. Sellers died Aug. 30, 2006, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. She was born Nov. 15, 1949, in Lodi, Calif., to Max Hittle and Mary Jean Broadway.
Before moving to Yerington, Mrs. Sellers lived in Hawthorne. She had traveled to Cuba, Panama and Germany as a military wife.
She worked as a clerk for the State of Nevada Welfare Department.
Among her survivors are her father of Lodi, Calif.; her husband Larry Sellers of Yerington; sister Marlene Gideon of Mokelumne Hill, Calif.; brothers Gary Hittle of Sheridan Wyo., Mike Hittle and Ron Hittle, both of Lodi, Calif.; two nephews and a niece.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
