A memorial service for Janet Elizabeth Musial, 82, a 22-year Carson City resident, will be 1 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Musial died Sept. 7, 2006, at Washoe Medical Center. She was born May 21, 1924, in Oakland, Calif., to Robert Wright and Christina Lovat.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in La Crescenta, Calif.
She was a personnel recruiter for Jet Propulsion Laboratories in Pasadena, Calif.
She was a member of Bible Study, the Presbyterian Women's Group, the P.E.O. Sisterhood and WE-Care, the widows' support group.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Musial; a daughter; a son and a brother.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law James and Lysa Musial of Agua Dulce, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Jean and Allan Quiat of Houston; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Colma, Calif.
