A memorial service for Jeffrey Ray Rollins, 42, a one-year Dayton resident, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. Visitation will take place at the service.
Mr. Rollins died Sept. 12, 2006, in Carson City. He was born June 11, 1964 in San Jose, Calif., to Marjorie Martinez.
Before moving to Dayton last year, Mr. Rollins lived in San Jose, Calif., for most of his life.
He was a heavy-equipment operator for many years at masonry plants.
He was a Catholic, and enjoyed cars, building models, playing guitar, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Among his survivors are his sons, Jonathan Chadwick of Carson City and Joshua Chadwick of Parker, Ariz.; daughters Shanna Chadwick of Dayton and Sarah Chadwick of Stead; sister Kimberly Rollins of McAlister, Okla.; brother Michael Hamilton of San Jose, Calif., and four grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory following the services.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
