A graveside service for Margaret E. Waldron-Hall, 92, an eight-year Gardnerville resident, will be Friday at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif. A viewing will be Thursday.
Mrs. Waldron-Hall died Sept. 13, 2006, in Gardnerville. She was born Sept. 5, 1914, in Clear Lake, S.D., to William Wolstenholm and Esther Woodward.
She married Roy Leon Waldron on Oct. 27, 1939, and married Kenneth Hall in 1995 in Apple Valley, Calif.
Before moving to Gardnerville, Mrs. Waldron-Hall lived in Nampa, Idaho, from 1974 to 1998 and in Whittier, Calif. from 1939 to 1974.
She attended York Liberal Arts School in York, Neb., for one year, and was a food service manager for Whittier High School District, as well as a homemaker.
She attended Evangelical United Brethren Church of Whittier and was a Sunday school piano player and teacher. She also sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her first husband April 29, 1993, and her second husband April 22, 1997, both in California; and by brothers Paul, Dean, Howard and Jim.
Among her survivors are her daughters Marilyn Kay Carnwright of Apple Valley and Bonita Jean Waldron and Myra Jane Waldron, both of Gardnerville; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial donation may be made to a charity of choice.
