A memorial service for Raymond Caldera of Carson City will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City.
Mr. Caldera, 75, died Sept. 6 in Reno.
He was born on Jan. 23, 1931, in Los Angeles, the son of Angel and Margaret Caldera.
He married his wife, Maria, in 1985 in Los Angeles.
He was a truck driver for more than 45 years.
He was a mechanic in the U.S. Army.
He was a Catholic.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Raymond "Joey" and Verleen Caldera of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Laura and Bill Moore of Mission Viejo, Calif.; brothers Max Caldera of New Mexico and Robert Caldera of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
