SILVER TINY MITES 12, SPARKS 0
The Carson Silver Tiny Mites struggled in their first two games, but bounced back Friday against the Sparks Cardinals, winning 12-0.
Carson was missing three of its players for Friday's contest. Garret Damico, Cole McDannald, and Gavin Furlong were all out for various reasons. The offense led by Trenton Robison at quarterback moved the ball well all night behind the blocking of Gage Geist, Jacob Obst, Aaron Wood, Tyler Starbuck, Donald Hurst, Ty Evans, Austin Baker, Jared Marchegger, and Ryan Kattenhorn.
Robison, Noah Doddridge and Nolan Sheldon all ran the ball well. Geist, Sheldon, Robison, Hurst, Dawson Breuer, Joshua Buchan, Garrett Clampitt, Doddridge, Evans, Adrian Lampe, Joseph O Neil, Richard Romero, Copeland Sargent, Starbuck and Wood all played well defensively.
Carson dropped its opener to the Carson Blue squad, almost came from behind vs. the Reno Patriots last week and travel this week to Sparks to take on the Sparks Raiders.
