According to Lyon County Sheriff's Detective Ryan Powell, officers served a search warrant on MacDonald's Croner Street home at 7:11 a.m. Wednesday. They seized a marijuana plant, 30 grams of "finished" marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
The street value of the drugs recovered was estimated to be between $900 and $1,000, Powell said.
He said MacDonald's 10- and 14-year-old sons were home at the time of the search and released to a family friend. MacDonald tested positive for the use of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.
While conducting the search of MacDonald's home, officers learned a transient living in a trailer nearby had a felony drug warrant out of Arizona.
