A memorial service for Elizabeth "Betty" Walker Trigero, 81, a three-year Reno resident and former Carson City and Fallon resident, will be noon Sunday at Walton's Sierra Chapel, 875 W. Second St. in Reno.
Mrs. Trigero died April 1, 2007, at Renown Medical Center. She was born Aug. 1, 1925, in San Francisco.
She earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Nevada, Reno. While in school, she joined the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
She belonged to the PEO Sisterhood, the Republican Women's Club, the University of Nevada Alumni Association and the Navy League. She was awarded the Sierra Pacific Power Co.'s Good Neighbor Award.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayson Trigero.
Among her survivors are daughters Jeanne MacKay and Susan Fredrickson; son Bill Trigero; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
Walton Funeral Home in Reno is in charge of arrangements.
