A celebration of life for Frank Roza Jr., 73, will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Roza died Feb. 28, 2007, at Hilo Medical Center in Hilo, Hawaii, after suffering a stroke Nov. 24, 2006. He was born Feb. 9, 1934, in San Luis Obispo, Calif., to Frank Roza Sr. and Dorothy Roza.
Mr. Roza lived most of his life in Carson City and Reno. He grew up in Lodi, Calif.
He owned several businesses in Carson City and retired to Hawaii in 1997.
He was a nationally respected numismatist and collected tokens and Hawaiian bottles..
He enjoyed sports, and coached several Carson City baseball teams.
Among his survivors are his wife, Rosalie Roza of Pahoa, Hawaii; sons Frank Roza III and Arthur Roza, both of Carson City; daughters Genelle Roza of Poteau, Okla., and Laurie Roza of Reno; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several extended-family members and friends.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
