Regina Ruth Clements, 37, a 10-year Dayton resident, died April 12, 2007, in Carson City.
Ms. Clements was born Feb. 28, 1970, in Pontiac, Mich., to James AF Anderson and Suzanne Kay Byers.
Before moving to Dayton, Ms. Clements lived in Huntington Beach, Calif.
She attended high school in Michigan and had just completed her degree in criminal justice from Western Nevada Community College.
She worked in accounting for the state of Nevada before serving as head of the Victims Restitution for Parole and Probation department.
She belonged to the Carson Valley Christian Center and enjoyed her family.
She was preceded in death by grandmother June Byers and brother Matthew.
Among her survivors are her parents, of Imlay City, Mich.; fiance, Bruce Thompson; daughter, Katrina Clements and son, Bradley Thompson, all of Dayton.
A celebration of life service will be announced later.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
