The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Ernesto Benitez, 21, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 1:32 p.m. Tuesday at William and Brown streets on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor driving without a license and speeding. Bail was set at $2,669.


• A 39-year-old mechanic from Carson City was arrested at 8:48 a.m. Tuesday at Pheasant and Fairview drives on suspicion of misdemeanor driving on a license suspended for drunken driving, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $1,839.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Graffiti reports on Fairview Drive, Mark Way and California Street.


• Coroner call in the 2800 block of Highway 50 East at 1:46 p.m.


• Accident on Winnie Lane at 4:39 p.m.


• Domestic battery calls on Pheasant Drive and Adams Street.


• Grand larceny report in the 1500 block of North Carson Street at 2:04 p.m.


• Two felony arrests and four misdemeanor arrests.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• A caller reported witnessing a man in the 800 block of East Main Street break the window on someone's car at 11:23 a.m. in Fernley.


• Report of a white Mustang stolen from the 600 block of Sunny Lane in Fernley at 1:55 p.m. by someone known to the owner.


• A purple Saturn with a tracking device was reported stolen from the 300 block of Cook Way in Fernley at 2:21 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest of a 51-year-old woman at the Dayton substation at 3:03 p.m.


• A mother reported a juvenile threw a rock at her son's eye at 6:40 p.m. in the 300 block of Soaring Way at 6:40 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• A mutual aid call for firefighters to assist Carson City in a hazardous cleanup at 11:18 a.m.


• A mutual aid call for firefighters to assist Washoe County with a fire at 5:16 p.m.
