Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Chris Bell, 34, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested Sunday at 9:05 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• Luann Kaye Knowles, 22, a transient, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. at Baker and Colorado streets on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor failure to appear, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Accident at Northridge Lane and Carriage Crest Drive at 12:44 a.m.

• Commercial burglary report in the 5100 block of Grumman Drive at 1:01 a.m.

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 5:40 a.m.

• Commercial burglary report in the 1200 block of North Roop Street at 11:52 a.m.

• Vehicle injury report in the 200 block of David Street at 2:21 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Cottonwood Lane in Fernley at 2:26 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on River Road in Mark Twain at 2:26 a.m.

• A wallet was reportedly stolen from an office on Pine Cone Road in Dayton sometime Friday.

• A report of children breaking into the parents' home in Mason Valley and threatening to beat them up at 3:09 p.m.

• Report of an unjustified killing of an animal in Fernley at 4:48 p.m.

• Tools reportedly stolen from the back of a pickup sometime Saturday night in the 300 block of Marshall Street in Fernley.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Arrest on Mustang Road at 2:26 p.m.

• Arrest on driving under the influence of drugs, having an open container of alcohol and resisting arrest at 7:06 p.m. on State Route 342.
