Tom Preston was 2-for-2 with a triple, an inside-the-park home run and three RBI, Blake Plattsmier and Jeff Butler were each 1-for-2 with an RBI, Cody Barr and Brooks Hutchins were each 1-for-1 with two RBI, Brett Allen doubled and David Charles went 1-for-3 for Carson (17-9, 10-6). Winning pitcher Blake Davidson struck out four over four innings and Plattsmier pitched one scoreless inning in the game that was called after five innings due to the mercy rule.
