Engagements Announced

Wiley, Miller

Joanna Lyn Wiley and Ryan Scott Miller have announced their engagement.

Joanna is the daughter of Mike and Janet Wiley of Carson City. She is a 2000 graduate of Carson High School and received a bachelor's degree in music education from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, Calif. Joanna is a music teacher at Rainbow Bible School in Abilene, Texas.

Ryan is the son of Randy and Nancy Miller of Austin, Texas. He is a 1999 graduate of Bowie High School and a 2003 graduate of Texas State in San Marcos, where he received a bachelor's degree in business. Ryan is a pilot with the U.S. Air Force.

Joanna and Ryan plan to marry July 1 at the Hyatt Regency at South Lake Tahoe, with the Rev. Steve Erven from Hilltop Community Church to officiate.

Bauter, Stone III

Whitney Elizabeth Bauter and Clark Edward Stoner III, both of Aptos, Calif., have announced their engagement.

Whitney is the daughter of Pamela and Dr. Robert Whitney Bauter of Carson City. She is a 1992 graduate of Carson High School and received a marketing degree in 1996 from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, Calif. Whitney is owner of WHITNEYfusion events, based in San Francisco.

Clark is the son of Susan and Clark Edward Stoner II. He is a 1991 graduate of Carson High School and received a civil engineering degree in 1996 from San Diego State University. Clark is owner of CFS Engineering in Aptos.

Whitney and Clark plan to marry Nov. 10 in Sayulita, Mexico.

Osmer, Coyne

Allison R. Osmer and James D. Coyne have announced their engagement.

Allison is the daughter of Roger and Kathleen Kirkland of Carson City. She is a 1999 graduate of Carson High School. Allison is a hair stylist with Studio Vogue in Gardnerville.

James is the son of Steven and Ellen Coyne of Gardnerville. He is a 1999 graduate of Douglas High School. James is a foreman with Coyne Roofing in Gardnerville.

Allison and James plan to marry Sept. 15 at Walley's Hot Springs Resort.
