Animal Ark hosts fundraiser

Animal Ark is hosting a fundraiser from 4-8:30 p.m. August 25. The tickets are $100 each and include a high speed cheetah run, falcon flight, gourmet dinner, hosted bar, opportunities to talk with wildlife experts and the freedom to enjoy all the animals at the sanctuary. There will also be the chance to bid for a range of exclusive items in a silent auction. The Animal Ark is located at 1265 Deerlodge Road, Reno.

The fundraiser provides vital funds to ensure the Ark's animal residents are fed and cared for over the winter when the Ark is closed to visitors and has no income.

Animal Ark is a wildlife sanctuary for non-releasable animals. We currently have 40 animals, mostly North American predators that cannot be returned to the wild. Without Animal Ark many of these animals would have been euthanized.
