Stanley George Papuzynski, 84, a 16-year Carson City resident, died July 30, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Papuzynski was born May 29, 1923, to Albert Papuzynski and Anna Hudduck in Ann Arbor, Mich. Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Los Gatos, Calif. He married Eva S. Suggs on Sept. 4, 1948, in Hattiesburg, Miss. He graduated from Lincoln Consolidated High School in Ypsilanti, Mich. He was a tool and die machinist. He was a member of the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by daughter Anita Papuzynski on June 7, 1974.
Among his survivors are his wife; sons, Kevin of Paia, Hawaii, and Donald of Austin, Texas; daughters, Jean of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Theresa of Sacramento, Calif.; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family memorial. Internment will be at the family plot in Los Gatos.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
