Funeral services for Santos Meza, 53, a seven-year resident of Carson City, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Meza died Aug. 4, 2007, in Carson City. He was born March 3, 1954, to Geronomo Meza and Gabina Ramirez in Durango, Mexico. He married Rita Gradney April 1, 1979, in Las Vegas. He lived in Coos Bay, Ore., prior to moving to Carson City. He worked in the Maintenance Department for S.C. Development Co. in Carson City. He was an active member of the American Pool Players Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Among his survivors are his wife, son Santos "Mike" Meza, daughters Rachelle Stickrouth Flowers and Veronica Meza, both of Carson City, and Rebecca Meza-Smith of McMinnville, Ore.; sisters Ignacia Saldana, Elisa Herrera and Bertha Meza, all of Mesa, Ariz., Catarina Rocha of Monterey, Mexico, Margarita Magallanes and Renalda Quinonez of Juarez, Mexico; brothers Antonio Meza of Queen Creek, Ariz., Ramon, Jose, and Gonzalo Meza, all of Mesa, Ariz., Rito Meza of Mexico; grandchildren, Jonathan Stickrouth, Cohen Smith and Mackenzie Meza-Moreno.
Burial will be in Mesa, Ariz.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
