A celebration of life for Myrtle Wyatt, 91, a 20-year resident of Gardnerville will be 1 p.m. today at Merrill Gardens, 1565A Virginia Ranch Road in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Wyatt died Aug. 8, 2007 in Gardnerville. She was born Nov. 11, 1915, in Wray, Colo., to James and Tillie Andrews. She married Marl Wyatt on May 1, 1936. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Among her survivors are son Jim Wyatt of Alta Vista, Kan.; daughters Shirley Breaden of Woodstock, Ga., and Judy Schroeder of Gardnerville; eleven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
