Let's Get It On Promotions announced on Monday that Yerington's Jesse Brinkley will fight in the main event on October 20 against an undetermined opponent.
After a successful return to Northern Nevada on July 6 with a ninth round TKO over Dallas Vargas, Brinkley is ready to hit training camp to prepare for an October 20 bout. The fight will take place in the Grand Exposition Hall at the Silver Legacy.
"Jesse's opponent will be announced as soon as we lock in one of the many super middleweights we are looking at," Let's Get It On Promotions' Terry Lane said. "We are moving forth with negotiations, and some big names are on the table. We have some interesting things in the works - so be prepared for some surprises."
Two wins in a row have moved Brinkley's record to 28-5 (19 KOs), and has his name moving higher in the super middleweight world rankings.
Ticket prices and undercard bouts will be announced as soon as information becomes available. For more information, go to www.letsgetitonboxing.com.
