Richard B. "Butch" Moore, 70, a two-year resident of Yerington died Aug. 22, 2007.
He was born May 14, 1937, to Thomas Moore and Yuma Jane Botts in Ventura, Calif. He grew up and attended schools in Santa Paula, Calif. He married Barbara Ann Suttle on Feb. 21, 1958, in Santa Paula. Prior to moving to Yerington he lived in California. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
He was preceded in death by son, David.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years; sons Don of Yerington, Doug of Santa Paula; daughter Jennifer Derwin of Fillmore, Calif.; mother Yuma June Moore of Idaho Falls, Idaho; brother Ron of Bend, Ore.; sisters Linda Dorman and Alta Tipton both of Idaho Falls; grandchildren Danille, Brian, Mellissa, Kevin and Jessica; great-grandchildren Ansley and Tiria.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Skillin-Carroll Mortuary, 738 E. Santa Paula St., Santa Paula.
