Russel Stuart Price, 80, a 20-year Carson City resident, died Aug. 25, 2007.
Mr. Price was born May 19, 1927, to Roland and Birtie Price in Halbrite, Saskatchewan, Canada. He attended school in Waldron, Saskatchewan. He joined the Canadian Army, serving in the Korean War.
He married Donna Barker Kenyon on Sept. 10, 1988, in Carson City.
He moved to Salt Lake City in 1982 where he worked in a diamond mine as a welder/fabricator. In 1987 he moved to Carson City where he worked for Kirkness Diamond Drilling Co.
He later worked at the Ponderosa Ranch until he retired.
He enjoyed working with his hands, doing mechanical work and traveling.
Mr. Price was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; daughters Lori Purkis of Abbetford, British Columbia, Diane Twan of Meritt, British Columbia and Katherine Stewart of Middleton, Ontario; son, Donald Price of Chase, British Columbia, Gary Price Kamloops of British Columbia; step-daughter, Sandra Stuke of Carson City; and sister, Elnora Gannon of Georgia.
