Keith E. Woodruff, 70, a 54-year resident of Minden, died Aug. 28, 2007, at home.
Mr. Woodruff was born March 6, 1937, to Emery Woodruff and Myra Lee Whitmire in Twin Falls, Idaho.
He married Beverly Hill April 16, 1995, in Las Vegas. He graduated from Buhl High School and Idaho State College.
He was an atomic scientist at the Nevada Test Site in Las Vegas until 1975. He retired in 2001 as manager of administration for Southwest Gas Corporation in Carson City.
He enjoyed gardening and making pottery.
Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and Geoff McConnell of Boise, Idaho, Kristi and Rick Salter and Suzette and Lance Landholm, all of of Las Vegas; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Becky Woodruff of Las Vegas; sister and brother-in-law Wanda and Bill Mawhinney of Port Ludlow, Wash., and seven grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
