Rose Ellen Valentine, 86, a 10-year resident of Gardnerville, died Aug. 26, 2007 in Carson City.
Mrs. Valentine was born April 10, 1921, to Oathel Daniel Eversole and Helen Morman-Eversole in Lima, Ohio. She lived in Auburn, Calif., before moving to Gardnerville.
She married Dale C. Valentine in Alameda, Calif.
She was a bookkeeper. She was president of Willow Glen Business and Professional Women's Club. She enjoyed bridge, bowling and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband and seven brothers and sisters.
Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Matt and Laura Valentine of Gardnerville; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
