A graveside service for Marie Davis, 87, a six-year Dayton resident, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died Feb. 6, 2007, at her home. She was born Oct. 30, 1919, in Indianapolis, to Roscoe Floyd and Charlotte Burchett.
She married Dwight Davis on Dec. 29, 1991, in Las Vegas.
Before moving to Dayton, Mrs. Davis lived in La Puente, Calif.
She was a high school graduate, and worked as a licensed vocational nurse and a psychological technician.
She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and cats.
She was a Jehovah's Witness.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 9, 2004, in Liberty, Mo.
Among her survivors are her daughters Carol Frutos of Fresno, Calif., Janet Franks of Egerton, Wis., Anita Giroth of Norco, Calif., Rosalyn Miller of Dayton and Julie Aguilar of Ontario, Calif.; son Gary Hamilton of Santa Maria, Calif.; sisters Barbara and Betty; brothers Wally, Wendal and Donald; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and a cousin.
Burial will follow the service.
