Martin Rios, 54, an 18-year Carson City resident, died Feb. 8, 2007.
Mr. Rios was born Nov. 29, 1952, in Abasolo, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Nicolas and Maria Mora Rios.
He attended school in Guanajuato. He worked for United Engineer Mechanic while in Mexico, and as a meat cutter for a butcher in Reno.
He enjoyed watching soccer and playing in casinos.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife, Ma Luz Pelagio; children Fabiola and Guadalupe Rios, both of American Fork, Utah; brothers Arturo and Jose of Carson City, Hector and Reinaldo Rios and Luis Manuel Rios, all of Mexico, and Sergio Rios of Reno; sisters Euangecina Aguilera, Maribel Ruiz, Jaqueline Espindola, Yesenia Rios and Arcecia Gonzalez, all of Carson City, and Ma de Jess Rios and Olivia Rios of Mexico; 27 nieces and 18 nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the FISH clinic.
