The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Diane Marie Welch, 48, merchandiser, from Carson City, was arrested at 9:23 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony grand larceny. Bail was set at $25,000.

• A 37-year-old unemployed Reno resident was arrested at 1 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of East Musser on suspicion of misdemeanor criminal contempt. Bail was set at $500 cash.

• A 30-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 5:56 p.m. Friday at Musser and Carson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $341 cash.

• A 27-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 9:16 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $4,132.

• A 42-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 8:12 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

• A 31-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Friday at East Fifth and South Stewart streets on suspicion of misdemeanor driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $1,132.
